About the Performers Directory

The Massachusetts Directory of Programs and Performers was developed by the Southeastern Massachusetts Library System, which ceased to operate on July 1, 2010. 

This is version of the Directory has not been updated since late June, 2010.  No additions or updates are currently possible.

The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, working with Massachusetts librarians responsible for programming in their libraries, will attempt to find a viable means for maintaining the Directory into the future.  Please contact performer@mblc.state.ma.us if you have any questions.

The directory includes performers in categories as diverse as authors and illustrators to clowns and jugglers. Programs for every age group, from preschool to adult, are included. Inclusion in the directory does not constitute an endorsement.
