Public Awareness Campaign

Massachusetts Libraries portal

The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners public awareness campaigns are designed to help all Massachusetts residents learn about the services that are available to them and their families at their local library. The campaigns also seek to create a new image of what today’s modern libraries are really like. Today’s libraries offer everything from Internet access to music, movies, 24/7 on-line access to resources and databases, newly released books, literacy programs for children as well as a variety of programs and events for adults.

This Web site, and other programs of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, is funded in part with funds from the
Institute of Museum and Library Services, a federal agency that fosters innovation, leadership and a lifetime of learning.
