| Libcode | Code representing each main library, which is generally the name of the municipality and for multiple libraries, partial library name. |
| Townsname | Name of the municipality in which the library is located. |
| Brancode | Code designating the branch. |
| Pop | 2007 Population - Population from the 2007 population estimates. For libraries in municipalities with one independent public library this is the population for the municipality in which the library is located. For municipalities with multiple independent libraries, this is a percentage of the municipality's population |
| Region | Regional Library System of which the library is a member. (B=Boston, C=Central, M=MetroWest, N=Northeast, S=Southeastern, W=Western) |
| Lib_name | Name of the outlet. |
| Circ | Outlet Circulation - Total circulation during FY2008 reported by the branch. |
| Mlibcirc | Library Circulation - The total FY2008 direct circulation (excludes ILL) of the main library and its branches and bookmobiles. |
| Circper | % of Library Circulation - The circulation of a branch or bookmobile as a percentage of the total FY2008 direct circulation (excludes ILL) of the main library and its branches and bookmobiles. |
| Hours | Total weekly hours worked by staff at the branch. |
| FTE | Outlet FTE - Average weekly FY2008 full-time equivalency of staff working at the branch. One FTE is 35 hours. |
| Cinternet | Whether the bookmobile provided Internet access for users during FY2008. |
| wifi | Whether the branch provided wireless Internet access during FY2008. |
