Directions: FROM BOSTON AND POINTS EAST OR WEST: Take I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) to Exit 4 (West Springfield); North on Route I-91 to Northampton, Exit 19 (second Northampton Exit). Take Route 9 to Amherst. *At traffic light at the intersection of Route 9 and South Pleasant Street (Town Common), turn left. Get into left lane and turn left at next traffic light at intersection of Pleasant Street and Amity/Main Streets. You are now on Amity Street. The Library is the second building on the right. FROM PITTSFIELD: Take Route 9 to Amherst. Follow from * above. FROM THE NORTH: Take I-91 South to Exit 20 (Route 5 South). Follow Route 5 for 1 mile to Route 9 East. Take Route 9 to Amherst and follow from * above.
