Take McGrath to the third set of lights, then turn right. The road forks almost immediately; take the left fork, Highland Ave. The library is on the right at the first set of lights. FROM THE NORTHWEST: Take Route 2 towards Boston until you reach the rotary. Take the rotary around to the left, and you will be on Alewife Brook Parkway. Follow this until you come to Broadway (there will be a cemetery on your left). Turn right onto Broadway and continue straight for about two miles until you come to a set of lights at McGrath Highway (multilane). Turn right onto McGrath and go to second set of lights, and turn right. The road forks almost immediately. Take the left fork, Highland Ave. The library is on the right at the first set of lights. FROM THE WEST: Take I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) to exit 18 (Allston/Cambridge). Take the Somerville ramp, to the right, to the first set of lights, then go straight across the bridge. At the end of the bridge, turn immediately right onto Memorial Drive. Continue straight, keeping left in order to pass under Massachusetts Ave., then keeping right in order to avoid being routed onto Longfellow Bridge. Memorial Drive will become Cambridge Parkway, which terminates near the Museum of Science. You will see a sign marked "28 North, Somerville 2 miles". This will be the second traffic light encountered since entering Memorial Drive, about 3 miles back. Turn left at this sign and continue straight until you come to a set of lights, at which there will be a sign "Highland Ave.". Follow this sign, taking the left fork onto Highland Ave. The library is on the right at the first set of lights. FROM THE SOUTH: Take Route 3 North (Southeast Expressway) to I-93. Take I-93 to the first exit, marked "Somerville, Routes 28 & 28". Coming down the ramp, bear left, then make the first legal left, passing under the Interstate. At the first set of lights, go left again, onto Mystic Ave. Take Mystic Ave. to the first set of lights, McGrath Highway. Turn right onto McGrath and go to the third set of lights, then turn right. The road forks almost immediately. Take the left fork, Highland Ave. The library is on the right at the first set of lights.
