Directions: FROM I-91 NORTH OR SOUTH: Take exit 18 (Northampton Center). Take Route 5 North to center of Northampton. Turn left at light onto Route 9 west (Main St.). Route 9 runs through the Smith College Campus at the edge of downtown. FROM I-90 (MASS. PIKE) EAST OR WEST: Take Exit 4 (I-91) in West Springfield north to.exit 18 Take exit 18 (Northampton Center). Take Route 5 North to center of Northampton. Turn left at light onto Route 9 west (Main St.). Route 9 runs through the Smith College Campus at the edge of downtown. PARKING: Parking places for visitors are scattered in many parking lots on campus. They are marked by blue lines. A visitor's pass must be obtained from the Security Office (below the library) as soon as possible after the car is parked. Short-term metered parking is available on Belmont Av. and Green and West streets, and all-day garage parking is available in downtown Northampton. Unmetered parking can be found along Elm St. (Rte. 9)
