Directions: FROM ROUTE 2 (ALBANY): Head toward North Adams, MA. Take Route 8 South into Adams. After stoplight by Adams Memorial School on your right & Brooks Drugs on left, you will pass two red brick churches on your right. A statue of President William McKinley is facing away from you in front of Second Church. The Adams Free Library is the yellow brick building to the statue's right. FROM I-90 (MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE): Take Exit 2. Follow Route 20 West to Pittsfield and follow signs to Route 8 North into Adams. At first stoplight in Adams (Post Office is on left corner), turn left onto Park Street (which is still Route 8 North). About 1/4 mile ahead, a statue of President William McKinley will face you. The Library is the yellow brick building to the left of the statue. Free parking is available on Melrose St., Maple St., or in the Public Parking Lot one block East. One hour metered parking is available on Park, Columbia or East Maple Streets.
