Regulatory Hearings

Regulations 605 CMR 6.00 governing the Massachusetts Public Library Construction Program (MPLCP) were last completely reviewed and updated in 2001, with minor revisions in 2004 and 2006. In preparation for a new construction grant round to take place in 2010, staff have again reviewed the regulations and are proposing several updates and changes to the Board.

The proposed changes are also highlighted as part of the complete program regulations in Complete Program Regulations with Tracked Changes (doc).

The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners will be holding public hearings regarding the proposed changes to MPLCP:

Friday, October 23, 2009 at 10:00 AM - M.G. Parker Memorial Library, Dracut
Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 1:30 PM - Sunderland Public Library
