Links for Library Web Pages
Create Direct Links
Don't know your Gale location ID? Look it up here.
The creation and placement of proper electronic resource links for E-resources is critical to helping patrons discover these valuable statewide-licensed resources and access them with a minimum of clicks. Massachusetts Library System member libraries should use this form to find their direct URL's to place on their library web pages for easy access to statewide-licensed electronic resources. One link covers both in-library and remote access.
You can link to an entire group of licensed resources by vendor, or link to individual electronic resources. Linking to individual products is great for subject-oriented and children or young adult web pages. Strategic placement of as many links as necessary to put the resources where your patrons are boosts usage.
A new way to stay up-to-date on these valuable resources is by setting up an RSS feed to MBLC's new Statewide Electronic Resources Blog.
