Made possible by their\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/www.culturalheritage.org\/resources\/funding\/emergency-grants__;!!O9h35Ks8fCsF!DsHbx7V9Hx-7XKqKkHMMSN9J6seoKu6tMC2r0fKOmuYcMJH-pN1bJT_AWAGS8toslwE3hzcakbd37fAeb8rTZNcBq0pO47jHv4IlSsw$\" target=\"_blank\">Emergency Microgrant<\/a>\u00a0program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>COSTEP MA Exec Board invited interested cultural institutions to complete the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1. &nbsp;Subscribe to our Email list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2. Create a listing in the Mass Emergency Management Agency\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/survey123.arcgis.com\/share\/ec969cc149a14bcb90569a8f638bbcb1?portalUrl=https:\/\/MEMAmaps.maps.arcgis.com\">Cultural Heritage Facilities Survey (arcgis.com)<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3. Write a short note (at least 1 paragraph) to COSTEP MA about your institution\u2019s disaster risks and how the disaster kit may help. To post it on our blog, photographs welcome.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4. Join at least 1 COSTEP MA Exec Board meeting to say hello.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Another awardee that satisfied the requirements is the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/scituatehistoricalsociety.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Scituate Historical Society<\/a>! Thank you and Congrats! Below is their note about their disaster risks and how the Kit may help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their Archivist writes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Scituate Historical Society is located in a town that is subject to severe weather that may result in power outages, wind and other storm damage; the building is over 100yrs old and is of wood-frame construction. We do not have generators or automatic fire suppression.
