The MBLC collects and analyzes financial, demographic, staffing, and service data from public libraries in Massachusetts. Use the table below to sort and filter by year or report type.
Data for most reports goes back to 2006. For reports from 2010 on, you can download data as an Excel spreadsheet.
NOTE: The two most recent reports are the statistics reported on the ARIS and Financial Report forms that are uploaded to the Public Library Survey (PLS). These are the federal questions from the forms and contain fewer details than our usual statistical reports. The State Aid Unit is continuing to work with Baker & Taylor to make Connect, the reporting tool, available. In the meantime, please contact us if you need other statistics not available in the PLS reports.
