Library Catalogs

Enter library name, then click Search.

There are nearly 60 different online library catalogs in Massachusetts. This sometimes makes finding a book, CD, audiotape or DVD a bewildering process. The statewide Virtual Catalog is beginning to make locating and requesting material easy. However, sometimes you simply want to look up titles in your own local library catalog. Use this search form to find your library's online catalog.

Select a network, then click Go.

More than 300 public libraries, 38 academic libraries, and a small number of school and special libraries, are members of one of the nine automated networks in Massachusetts. If you know the name of your library's network, you can go directly to the online catalog.

This Web site, and other programs of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, is funded in part with funds from the
Institute of Museum and Library Services, a federal agency that fosters innovation, leadership and a lifetime of learning.
