Youth Services Librarian, Langley-Adams Library (Groveland)
The Town of Groveland is seeking a qualified, full-time (37 hrs/wk) Youth Services Librarian for the Langley-Adams Library. Hours include at least one week night per week and occasional Saturdays.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in planning, implementing, and managing library services for children and teen programs. Must have an aptitude for working with people; excellent communication, both verbal and written; ability to organize; ability to work with both children and teens.
Bachelor’s degree required. Education experience preferred. Knowledge of professional library methods, as well as children’s and teen literature and reference resources and practices; Proficient in the use of computers, especially with regards to web and bibliographic resources. Experience with Symphony by SirsiDynix preferred.
Hourly rate of pay range is $23.53-$27.84/hour with benefits.
