The Foundation for Advancement in Conservation (FAIC) is seeking volunteers to become National Heritage Responders. Interested individuals must be a member of AIC/FAIC to participate and the deadline to apply is December 15, 2021. Announcement below:
Are you interested in becoming a National Heritage Responder? We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a national training in 2022, to expand the National Heritage Responders volunteer corps!
The National Heritage Responders training will take place over the course of several months in 2022. Participants will be expected to complete several online curriculum modules from February – April 2022. On May 13 and 14, 2022 participants will need to be on site in Los Angeles, California to participate in the in-person training component. Participants must complete all aspects of the training, including an exam following the in-person portion, to serve as an NHR volunteer.
The NHR training will immediately precede AIC’s 50th Annual Meeting, which will take place May 15-17, 2022 in Los Angeles.
