Directions: BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Take the red line of the 'T' to Harvard Square. Walk into the yard and find the statue of John Harvard in front of University Hall. Take the path to your left and walk out of the yard, pass the Science center and Memorial Hall onto Kirkland St. Walk along Kirkland St. to the set of lights; cross the street. The Busch Reisinger Museum is on one corner and William James Hall is on the other. The Peabody Museum is at 11 Divinity Avenue. FROM THE NORTH: Take Route 93 South toward Boston. Take the exit for Storrow Drive-Cambridge. Follow Storrow Drive keeping to the right (along the Charles River). Take the Harvard Square/Cambridge exit to light; go over bridge (Charles River). Continue straight on JFK Street through first traffic light (Memorial Drive). Continue through 2nd (Eliot Street) and 3rd (Mt. Auburn Street) lights. Keep left at the 4th light; this is the center of Harvard Square. Stay to the right and pass "Out of Town News" on your on your left; stay in the right lane. Go through the next light, staying in the right lane; follow under an overpass. Go left at the first light (Graduate School of Design on right). Turn left at next light onto Kirkland Street. Follow to Oxford Street (you are forced to go right here). You will pass the Museum of Comparative Zoology entrance on the right and will come to the entrance for the Museum parking lot. Turn right into the Lot. FROM THE SOUTH: Take Route 3 (Southeast Expressway) North from the intersection with Route 128 (I-95). In Boston, take the exit for Storrow Drive and follow directions above. FROM THE WEST: Take I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) East. Get off at the Cambridge/Allston exit. Follow signs for Cambridge bearing to the right. As you come off the exit, a 10-story hotel is on your right; begin to move into the left lane as you pass the hotel. Go through the traffic light at the corner of the hotel. Make a left BEFORE the bridge (DO NOT CROSS OVER THE BRIDGE). Go through the next set of lights (Western Avenue); you will be on an entrance ramp leading to Storrow Drive with very rapid traffic. Follow Storrow Drive 1/2 mile to the first exit (Harvard Square/Cambridge) on the right. Follow directions from above.
