Program

Tom has delighted tens of thousands in over thirty years of performing - 57 programs in 10 states during the summer of 2019. Every show is an online pre-recorded or live top ten lineup of most fun, most participatory kids' songs out there - many are even a bit athletic (they only sit for two)! "Virtual Library Camp" programs from his woods (modest house, nice woods!) are very popular this summer. He accompanies himself on guitar, banjo, and harmonica, and adds a drum machine to keep things upbeat and easy to move to. In keeping with the "Imagine Your Story" theme, the kids' imaginations are engaged throughout, along with lots of encouragement of the kids' lifelong participation in music, reading, and library usage. Great nature and science slides and cool facts are part of the program (visuals... like a real rock show!). Tom travels with a good sound system for use as needed, which also works well outdoors. All libraries receive a free CD of the world's most fun kids' songs - librarians say they're a great resource when they need to get everyone up and moving!
