Seasonal programs

Most programs include storytelling.

Each program includes information on myth, legend, & history of the season or celebration

Jim & Maggi's seasonal programs are drawn from a world of different traditions, Medieval & Renaissance times to contemporary times, & a world of styles '” folk, classical, 19th century parlor song, jazz, standards, blues, popular, theatre music.

Programs are drawn together by a common theme & a variety of instruments, primarily plucked strings, are utilized. The instruments are chosen to be appropriate to the style & time period of the musical selections.

t CELTIC MUSIC of all Celtic peoples, including specifically, WELSH FOR ST. DAVID'S DAY (MARCH 1) OR IRISH FOR ST. PATRICK'S DAY (or anytime!)

t LOVE SONGS FOR VALENTINE'S DAY (or other days)

t 300 YEARS OF CHRISTMASTIME IN AMERICA (AMERICAN CHRISTMAS MUSIC)

t WINTERTIDE AT THE YEAR'S BIRTH (NEW YEAR'S PROGRAM)

t 'COLD IS THE NIGHTWIND' : A VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

$750. our fees can be negotiable, depending on the service, and we also do highly-popular artist-in-residence series

Facility Requirements
