Buckle up and join Judy as we make our way out from Maine across the US on a road trip that includes upbeat songs, tons of interaction and dancing and a great geography lesson! Judy engages children in a musical literary adventure taking them from Make Way for Ducklings in Boston, to Balto in Alaska and everywhere in between. What is the only state in the Union where you can tour a REAL legitimate royal palace? In which state can you sit and watch thousands of bats fly out from a cave every evening? Where can you visit Laura Ingalls' Wilder's homestead?
Program may be accompanied by a power-point presentation (if you have the equipment) feature Judy's personal family photos from many trips throughout the USA.
Learn the answers to these questions and more when you read your way across the USA with Judy Pancoast!
This program helps fulfill the National Education Standards for Social Sciences/Geography, Language Arts and Fine Arts.

Judy Pancoast has been performing library shows for kids and families across the country since 1996. In 2011, her one-of-a-kind CD, "Weird Things are Everywhere! A Reading Road Trip with Judy Pancoast, was nominated for a real true Grammy Award for Best Children' Album. This program is the live version of that album and has been library and school tested....Judy is a wealth of information with interesting anecdotes and facts from her library tours of 49 US states.
Her library concerts have received excellent reviews from librarians, parents, and ...especially...children! She is a complete professional and always makes sure your youngest patrons are entertained and educated with a quality performance. Your audience will be delighted, and so will you...guaranteed!
Judy Pancoast is also award winning songwriter of the hit Christmas song "The House on Christmas Street" which is played on the radio in New England each Christmas season. .
