Description
Poetry and Dance have much in common, from rhythm and meter to metaphor. Dance Collective brings physicality and feeling to the words of many poets, such as William Carlos Willams and e.e. cummings. Moving Words encompasses poetry from 17th-century verse to contemporary writing. Students participate in the program, through free writing about what they are seeing or through improvising movement.
