Teens and adults are welcome to learn the beautiful art of pastel painting in this two-hour program. Award winning artist/teacher Sharon Morley will do a short demonstration of some of the more popular techniques of pastel painting and will have a few of her pastel paintings on hand to further your understanding of the use of pastel. You then will have a chance to work on your own painting from a still life set up which will be provided or a photo that you bring in. You will use the best products to receive professional looking and archival artwork. Sharon will help each person on an individual basis and answer all questions as they arise. Pastel paper and soft pastels will be provided for you to use but you may bring your own pastels and paper if you prefer.
The program will end with a demonstration of how to frame your artwork using archival materials.
No prior experience required...just come and Color Your World!
$400. Fee includes all archival pastels, and paper.
