Description

Carol Weis is the author of the picture book, WHEN THE COWS GOT LOOSE, which was given a starred review by Kirkus, and was illustrated by best-selling artist, Ard Hoyt.

In this program, Carol reveals the steps it takes to make a picture book happen, from idea to finished book. Included in this journey are early drafts of her picture book, preliminary sketches by the illustrator, and notes from the editor.
