Dressing from corset to gloves, Kandie Carle takes her audience on a journey of discovery on the everyday lives of Victorian and Edwardian men, women and children. Using authentic as well as historically acurate reproduction garments (dating from the 1860s to 1915), Ms Carle dresses from the inside out, all the while sharing anecdotes and lively historical facts and fiction! There is audience participation, as well as Q & A. The show is great for multi-generational audiences. 3rd grade to octogenarian! Not just for women and girls, this program is great for boys and men too. Choose from mid-Victorian 1860s, late Victorian 1890s or early 1900s Edwardian. (Edwardian can be themed to include Suffrage)
