Get kids thinking, inventing, and creating this summer with a workshop that lets them design and build their own robot! Participants will learn what robots are and the engineering basics needed to bring them to life.
For elementary and middle school age, build a Robotic Finn Gripper or Motorized ArtBot to take home! For middle and high school, create a Programmable DrawBot you can steer and add lights, music, and data display.

She has written more than a dozen books of hands-on activities for kids and other beginners that explore cutting edge concepts in STEAM -- Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math -- using easy-to-find materials.

Program Length
90 minutes-2 hours

For coding workshops, computers with wifi are preferable. Laptops which do not need internet access are available to borrow if needed (outlets required). Electronics for coding classes are provided during the workshop; ask about purchasing kits to keep on hand for future exploring!
