Program Categories
Authors and Illustrators, Storytellers
Audience Age
Parents alone, or parents with children
Reading and telling stories to young children helps them learn how to read, yet parents can be nervous and frightened. This program will help parents learn to overcome any anxieties they have and snuggle up with their youngsters and a good book.
The program includes modeling of reading and storytelling, tips, tricks and questions/answers.
It can be presented for parents-only or as a family program with parents and children together.
Signed copies of the author's Bed Time Story books will be available following the presentation.
