Thoroughly Three - Musical Me!
Program Categories
Music, Educational Programs, Puppets
Audience Age
2-4 years
Hee-Hee-Hee, I'm Three, I'm Three! Come celebrate those fantastic three-year-old's in your life with a visit to the library! We will experience lots of music, dance, laughter and plenty of wiggling! I encourage loads of hands-on interaction through puppet and parachute play and other, self-esteem enhancing activities, sign language, and a subtle bit of music therapy thrown in for good "measure"! Throughout the program, I will be making creative suggestions for the accompanying parents/caregivers to use at home, i.e., how music can be so helpful during transition times throughout the day. (When hosting teacher seminars at my client schools, this is the component of my curriculum that the staff find most helpful!) The children will feel welcome to strum my guitar or autoharp (everybody gets a turn!) and will love having individual musical instruments to play (as many as can fit in their hands!) during our singalong time! The program can include, but is not limited to: family dance time, plenty of large-muscle,locomotor movement, prop play (such as scarves or rainbow streamers), interactive musical storytime, during which we will celebrate our literary and those present parents who bring their children to the library regularly! Bring a friend or two or three - have even more fun at your li--bra--ry!!
$200. multiple-concert/class fee discount for same location on same day - 2 to 3 programs back to back at reduced rate, i.e., $375/2 programs, $500 for 3. Mileage only added for programs outside 20 mile radius of Scituate.
Group Size
25 children w/adult caregiver
Program Length
1 hour (sometimes more if I have too much fun!)

Please ask my client libraries for my performance reviews! Additional rave reviews available upon request from me! Now in my 5th year, in addition to my library performances, I have the privilege of teaching music at over 40 schools on the South Shore of Massachusetts, and own a private studio for children and parents to attend my musical enrichment classes (110 children per week)- I just released my 2nd of 2 Children's CD's (please sample a listen at cdbaby.com/musiclady2), and I am in the process of publishing my 4 children's books! I would LOVE to add your library to my growing family of libraries that I have served with musical enrichment programs. There are 12 in Mass. some have been monthly engagements, and I have had the pleasure of being invited back for return/multiple venues over the years by most! I am a member of the following professional children's music educators' associations: NAEYC, ECMMA, CMN, MENC, MMEA, and AOSA. Thank you for your consideration!
