Program

Child development classes build off the Music Makers classes by adding twenty minutes of a structured activity (craft or sensory play) and some unstructured play time. During this time, I have a chance to answer parents' questions about any developmental milestones they are dealing with. Parents also have a chance to chat in order to build a community within the group. The last minutes of class are devoted to reading a storybook. I model how to build early literacy skills through active reading and questioning.
