Follow the Cannon: Clara Barton's Civil War Letters is a poignantly powerful one-woman play. Hear Clara's own words describe her trials and tribulations as she becomes the Angel of the Battlefield. The play is followed by a question and answer period that encourages discussion and interaction with the actor thereby enriching the theatrical experience. The actor draws on her extensive knowledge of Barton and the 19th century reform movements, highlighting the obstacles Barton overcame throughout her life.
