I bring hundreds of thousands of LEGO bricks and over five-hundred mini-figs (little people), plus loads of wheels, castle parts, windows, horses, and other fun elements. Many of the LEGOs are sorted by color or purpose to make building easier. I also provide a huge pile of mixed blocks.
If your library already has a LEGO club, this is a fun way to draw attention to it and involve more kids. If you don't have the money to pay staff and purchase bins of LEGO parts, or the space to store those bins, or the time to clean-up after the program, this is an easy way to get it all!
All you have to do is provide an empty space on the floor and let the kids know. We do suggest getting a few LEGO books through ILL, as the kids enjoy looking at them for inspiration and often take them home.
This program offers fun opportunities to explore STEAM elements. I show participants a book about a real, life-sized LEGO house, offer a challenge to anyone who wants to build to a theme (i.e. Can you build a circle out of rectangles?) and show a 2-minute video of a functional, life-sized, LEGO car.
We strive to keep our prices low so as many libraries as possible will be able to have us visit.
$250.
We charge .46 cents per mile from Wendell, MA. We prefer to keep the group to 50 children or less. Parents are always welcome!
Group Size

Although we can squeeze in just about anywhere, a large floor space is great. We bring a 21' round tarp and it's wonderful to be able to let everyone spread out.
