“Our patrons are constantly asking when we will have Julie back at the Farmington Libraries to share the joys of the ukulele! Her gentle and warm approach disarms even the most hesitant learners. She is also remarkably flexible, teaching anyone from age 3 to 93, in large or small groups. I highly recommend Julie, she is a pleasure to work with.”  Leah Farrell, MLIS, Community Services and Media Coordinator, Farmington Libraries, Farmington CT

“Julie Stepanek has been a regular presenter at Storrs Library since her debut here wowed our patrons with her enthusiastic and encouraging teaching style. Julie’s broad smile and melodious voice encouraged all the participants to strum and have a rollicking sing-along! Her musical talent and easy-going temperament make her a delight to work with and a favorite of our patrons! Ukulele lessons are often requested and enthusiastically attended at Storrs Library, Julie is quite a jewel!”  Wendy Pearson, Adult Programming, Richard Salter Storrs Library, Longmeadow, MA

“We recently had Julie Stepanek visit our library for a ukulele program and it was phenomenal! I highly recommend her if you are looking for program ideas.” Esther Melnik, Hatfield Public Library, Hatfield MA
