Audience Age
3-8
Lindsay's highly interactive, comedic performances delight the young and the young at heart! These larger-than-life, handcrafted puppets charm even the most timid audience members and provide memorable characters for positive short stories and skits. Lindsay's animation and timing, high energy, and uncanny knack for silly voices electrifies young crowds (and mastery of gentle crowd control will bring them back!). She believes the visual and interactive nature of puppetry can access the imaginations of even the youngest children to inspire creative play, self-confidence, and kindness. She also believes the experience of shared joy and laughter can strengthen a community.
Sample stories:
Meryl Sheep Saves the Day! All the sheep in the flock think cautious Meryl is a scaredy sheep, but when she pulls off a grand rescue mission that nobody else has the courage to lead, she becomes a hero!
Outside the Box: With imagination and a bit of literary inspiration, the donkey and I will turn a simple cardboard box into a castle/boat/spaceship. The kids come up with magic words to send us on our way, but some uncanny occurances hint that these words might be more than mere make believe...
Beep Bop Beep: AKA "Bob." Designed to do chores, all this giant robot wants to do is dance! He will get the kids up on their feet with his vacuuming and laundry jigs - but nothing beats the "Robo-Boogie." He is equipped with a mouth that lights up in time with his voice!
Picky Polly: This little dragon has very particular tastes, but she teaches herself a hilarious lesson when she packs her own "secret lunch." The kids will help her get back on track. Is that...gulp...a vegetable?!

“Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals have performed for us at our annual Sheepshearing Festival where thousands attend as well as in an intimate show of 30. In each case Lindsay’s stories and puppets delighted old and young alike. As an events planner, I particularly appreciate her professionalism and her flexibility. Her ability to adapt her presentation to the circumstances while maintaining a high-quality performance makes her a pleasure to work with!” - Thom Roach, Events Planner, Gore Place, Waltham, MA
