Program

Gogh Art's unique PLAY WITH ART workshop allows children 5 and up an opportunity to exercise their creativity while making art, reading, and learning about various sports. The workshop also supports this year's national reading theme.

In this 90-minute workshop, each participant will paint a LOVE picture, customizing it with their favorite sport and their own color palette. In addition, each participant will receive a copy of our "Color. Learn & Play - All About Sports Activity" coloring book. This unique paperback book introduces children to four sports: baseball, basketball, football, and hockey. In addition to learning the basics of each sport, children read, color, play games, write, draw and record their own sports memories.

Each book is a combination how-to book, picture book, activity book and scrapbook - all rolled into one. Children (ages 5-10) will be inspired to get out there and just play. "Color. Learn & Play" is based on a passion for kids, creativity, fitness, education, and of course, sports!

For older participants, the book can be swapped out and replaced with these fun DYO projects: collapsible water bottles or drawstring bags.
