The Solstice Sackbuts perform (in costume) a concert full of tricks and treats and great music including an array of spooky musical classics and Halloween favorites. They provide interesting and humorous commentary about the history of Halloween and it's spooky traditions, in addition to the selection of music from every possible genre that relates in some way to Halloween. We can perform this program online via Zoom, Facebook Live or YouTube..
Get out your scariest costume or come dressed as you are to enjoy this delightful occasion for the child in us all.
Repertoire includes classics such as Danse Macabre, In the Hall of the Mountain King, Funeral March of a Marionette (Alfred Hitchcock's theme), music from Phantom of the Opera, music from TV and movies, such as Ghost Busters, The Addams Family and The Munsters, and pop favorites, such as Thriller, Superstition, Bad Moon Rising, Monster Mash, Ghost Riders in the Sky, and many other surprises.

Fee is flexible depending on travel and time of day.

We have performed at many libraries and great venues throughout New England and have been invited back for return engagements. We also offer a historical "Music Through the Ages" program, an international "Sliding Around the World" program, a holiday program, and a "Modern Sackbut" program featuring works by living and often local composers.
