Description

Learn to dip candles just like Laura Ingalls did in Little House on the Prairie. Participants are able to choose wax colors, scents, and shapes of candles, and may choose to hand dip or use candle molds. Candles are made from 100 percent vegetable based waxes with the exception of beeswax.

This program can be tailored for young and old audiences alike, and is GREAT FUN!

May run over an hour with larger groups, plan accordingly.

This program is suitable for the 2023 summer reading theme All Together Now on Kindness, Friendship, and Unity.

Fee
$200.

Mileage is charged based on distance from Ithaca, NY, at $0.50 per mile. 

The base fee of $200.00 covers up to 40 patrons and their take home products. If a larger crowd is expected, patrons can be added at $6.00 per person.

For greater distances, libraries are encouraged to block book with other area libraries to split the travel fee and for program discounts based on number of libraries participating.
