Description

Jen Niles is a self-taught artist known for her bold, bright and whimsical acrylic painting style. Her favorite subject is animals, and in her library classes, Jen shows students how easy it is to create a cheerful and fun painting, even if they have had no prior experience. Typically the paintings are done on 8x10 stretched canvas, and Jen provides all of the supplies.  NOTE: Starting in 2024 Jen is only doing a limited number of classes; please reach out about availability.
 

Fee
$320.

The fee can vary based on location, size of the class, and length of the class.

Facility Requirements

The painting classes require tables and chairs for the students, easy access to running water, and good lighting. Since COVID, Jen wears a mask and appreciates the ability to open the windows before and after class, if possible.

Comments

I look forward to discussing the details of the class with the library. I can tailor my classes to fit a theme if needed. If we're not going to be doing an existing painting, I will come up with a new design and provide a sketch ahead of time for the library's approval before painting the actual sample I will use in class. I can provide .JPG images to be used on the web or in print, as well as class descriptions.
