Yours for Humanity - Abby is a one woman play about 19th century radical abolitionist, woman and human rights activist, Abby Kelley Foster. She dedicated her life to social justice, working relentlessly to end both race and gender prejudice as she travled around the country lecturing for almost 30 years.
Travel back to 1854 and enter Abby's world - a tulmultuous time when the country was dividied, a time not unlike our own.
Hear Abby's emotionally powerful orations which changed the hearts and minds of many.
See how one person can effect extraordinary changes in society by sheer determination, perserverance, and hard work.
The play, co-authored by Caroln Howe, Ph. D. and Karen Board Moran, M. Ed., is deeply researched and based on primary source letters and speeches.
