JUMPIN' JUBA offers a concert program that contains a variety of blues-based traditional (and some contemporary) American music. We feature traditional barrel-house / boogie-woogie piano, several examples of regional American blues guitar styles, and vocals appropriate for these genres. Classic blues and rock & roll tunes from New Orleans, Chicago, and Memphis are mixed in with with occasional Latin and Caribbean grooves. The music is upbeat, and family-friendly. We provide brief histories to many of the tunes we play, and take questions from the audience.
