Description

Virtual Reality cannot be experienced virtually using video conferencing software.  (Please check out our 3D Design and Printing program for a virtual program).  Our specialty is "cool technology". Virtual Reality is fun and can be educational for participants of all ages, whether the VR program is an Apollo 11 mission, an adventure flowing through the human body learning about organs, or playing multi-player tennis or job simulator. We start by briefly discussing the history of VR, how it works, the different ways it is being used, and how it is evolving. The STEAM based workshop (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math) also can include Robotics or other activities. The workshop optionally ends with or includes a fun balloon twisting event.  Our goals are to inspire & teach all who attend, and for everyone to have fun.

Fee
$400.

This fee is approximate, but is for a "typical" workshop and includes all supplies. Reduction is possible for back to back or multiple bookings, and when much travel is required if we can book another library in your area. Fee may also be less for libraries closer to us or more if further away. Fee may also depend on length of workshop.

Group Size
Up to 40

Program Length
2 hours or as needed

Facility Requirements

The VR program requires about 10 square feet of dedicated space for the participants with additional space for spectators and those waiting a turn.
