This Old Hat, American Heroines is a one woman, tour de force musical showcasing famous American Women.  American Heroines features the stories of the following women:

Catherine Coffin, known an The First Lady of the Underground Railroad, talks about the secret signals in quilt patterns and how escaping slaves were hidden in their home; Molly Pitcher tells her story of bringing water to the soldiers and helping to fire the cannon in the Battle of Monmouth during the Revolutionary War; Prudence Crandall, Connecticut's Heroine, reaccounts her story of opening the first Boarding School for Young Ladies of Color in Canterbury CT and how the people of Canterbury shut her school down; Mother Jones reaccounts her March of the Mill Children, which brought the condition of working children to the attention of the press, and led to the first child labor laws.

Historically correct, entertaining and filled with music, American Heroines is sure to entertain and inform your audience.
