Mindfulness Drop-In
The Mindfulness Drop-In can be an ongoing series of classes meeting weekly for 30 minutes, or 45 minutes or 60 minutes, either ONLINE virtually or in-person. The intention is to help reduce stress and improve overall health and wellbeing.
The series can start at anytime and can be taught during the week, at a day and time chosen together. The class can targeted toward a general or a specific audience.
This class is open to anyone interested in learning and practicing mindfulness - novice and non-novice. The class is taught in a secular way, with short introduction on the day's topic, an experiential practice of mindfulness, and ends with a short group sharing or dyad, or tool to apply mindfulness in daily life. A short reading/poem from a book existing in the library collection can be included, too.
