Description

Discover celebratory West African dances and their adaptations in Brazilian and Caribbean cultures, set to the rhythms of African drumming in an interactive performance that is guaranteed to bring all ages to their feet. This program features authentic costumes and instruments and can be adapted to include narration on African art, culture, and history.

Remote Program (through the summer): $620 + 30 processing fee.

Single Show: $775
Back-to-Back: $1,315
Three-In-A-Row: $1,860
Four-In-A-Row: $2,400
Travel Fee: $100 per day

Note: pricing may vary for weekend/out-of-school time

Provisions:
1 reserved parking space
1 armless chair
Microphone (if available)
Water for 3 performers (if performing more than once)

Please provide a school representative to introduce the ensemble at the beginning of each performance.

Performance Space:
20’ by 20’ clean wooden floor (swept and wet-mopped)
Arrival time before first performance: 30 minutes
Strike time: 10 minutes
Time needed between performances: 15 minutes
Teacher participation is appreciated.
