Join us as we learn about these special nocturnal insects that brighten our night sky!  Discover the habits and lifestyles of these luminous insects, and learn what makes their ‘cool light’ different from other ‘warm light’.  We will learn about the ways they have been used as sources of light for centuries in many cultures around the world.   We will discover where to find fireflies in your own backyard, and will include instructions for making a firefly catcher at home!
