“Blast Off to Reading” is an interactive musical performance connected to the 2019 summer reading theme of "A Universe of Stories", featuring songs about space, reading and books, including songs connected to books related to space - both science fact and science fiction. The program is adapted to the ages of the children in attendance. For younger children, references to picture books will be included, while programs for older kids will include references to chapter books. The program will get everyone involved through singing, movement, lyrics-on-the-spot, sign language and visual aspects such as puppets.
$350.
Regular fee is $600 plus travel for one, $900 plus travel for 2; library discount = $300-400 plus travel. No travel cost for virtual programs.
