In "Tea with Mrs. Dickens", Catherine Hogarth Dickens welcomes you into the Dickens Family Home at Tavistock in December 1852. During your visit, Mrs. Dickens shares stories, from her early life to her adventures with the world's most famous author, along with her perspectives on Victorian social, literary, parenting, culinary and Christmas traditions. This original, engaging show is performed in period costume by professional actress Marci Diamond, SAG-AFTRA, AEA, who co-wrote the program with J.T. Turner , after our research revealed the need for Catherine to tell her own story. Premiered at the Groveland Historic Society in 2016, and now featured annually at Dickens on The Strand in Galveston, TX and Dickens Holiday Festival at the Museum of Industry & Innovation.
