Together, ImprovBoston and your students will apply improvisation to existing technologies, explore productive outcomes of experiments gone awry, apply critical thinking in outside-the-box ways, and discover the value of true “Yes And” collaboration. ImprovBoston expertly tailors a STEAM immersion for each grade level. Through the power of improvisation and comedy, the renowned theater delivers a program so interactive, it’s never the same twice! The result is a STEAM experience that gets students excited about math, sciences and the creativity that inspires us all.

Travel Fee: $100 flat rate for locations within 150 miles round trip from Cambridge, MA 02139. For travel greater than 150 miles round trip, please use the mileage rates chart.

Performance Space:
Enough room for four performers to move around free of obstacles, set pieces, etc.
Ample lighting (front lighting) to illuminate actors anywhere on stage.
If a raised stage, safe and easily accessible stairs leading from audience to stage.
Minimum stage area dimensions: 10 feet wide by 6 feet deep
Arrival time before first performance: 45 minutes
Strike time: 15 minutes
Time needed between performances: 15 minutes minimum, 30 preferred
Teachers are expected to model appropriate audience behavior for students.
Please introduce the performers as a Young Audiences of Massachusetts ensemble.
