Description

Norah puts her extensive trove of stories, folktales, fables, and songs to work for you by crafting a unique storytelling program centered on the theme or culture of your choice – and linking it directly in with your curriculum. Possible themes include Irish stories, Italian stories, Caribbean stories, bullying, nonviolent conflict resolution, tricksters, female heroines, and more!

Facility Requirements

Provisions:

1 reserved parking space

Artist brings water bottle and appreciates the ability to refill same.

Multimedia projector on AV cart

Screen or white surface to project on

Extension cord

Electrical outlet

Small table for books

Microphone on stand or clip mic

Amplification and sound system required for groups of more than 50 students
Performance Space: Must have the ability to darken room
Arrival time before first performance: 20 minutes
Strike time: 20 minutes
Time needed between performances: 10 minutes
Teachers are asked to model appropriate audience behavior for students.
