Description

She was born in the 19th Century, worked to change the 20th century and her wisdom still resonates today, in the 21st century. Blanche Ames, a 20th century activist, resided in Massachusetts and fought hard to achieve social justice for women. She is a relative unknown and it is our hope, through this documentary, to change all that.

BORDERLAND, THE LIFE & TIMES OF BLANCHE AMES-AMES is not only a historical look-back at the struggles of the past, but a testimony to the disparities women are met with, still today.

BCN Productions is now offering virtual screenings in an effort to bring to light the accomplishments of one amazing individual and her quest for women's equality.
