Defying the Laws of Gravity

Program Category
Clowns and Jugglers

Audience Age

Description

A comic attempt to defy the laws of gravity: Henry Lappen tries the impossible, and sometimes succeeds! He juggles any number of balls, clubs, rings, flaming torches, and items from the audience. He balances strange objects on the tip of his nose. He speaks little, but communicates with mime and gesture (and road signs!). There is loads of audience interaction throughout. A free workshop follows the show where participants can try their hand at juggling and some of the other tricks they have witnessed. Henry is a graduate of the Dell'Arte School of Physical Comedy, and has been performing for over 35 years.
