Description

Meet waterfowl in person:
domesticated ducks and geese, 
and learn about wild ocean dwelling birds such as sandpipers, seagulls, cranes, and even flamingos!

Ecology, habitat, and biology of sea birds will be covered as well as interacting with the live ducks and geese and learning about their unique morphology. Birds who live in or near water possess certain adaptations that allow them to survive. Learn about endangered species and conservation, things you can do to help our feathered friends.

$150.

Program fee is $150.00 plus mileage at $0.50 per mile from Ithaca, NY. Best practice is to pool resources with other local libraries and schedule on the same date or date range.
