Jazz - An American Art

Program Category
Music

Audience Age
adult or advanced teens

Description

Jazz was born in the U.S., but is our gift to the world. This presentation delves into its origins, evolution, styles and milestones.

We’ll explore structure, artists, and the common components that run through all eras - including those elements that are shared by other genres of music, a fascinating parallel.

And of course, we’ll listen to an earful of magnificence.

Fee
$300.

My philosophy is to never price myself out of an appearance. As such, while I had to quote a number, it's quite flexible. If you're intrigued by what I offer, please give me a call and let's chat. It's very rarely that I can't find common ground with a venue on fees.

Group Size
Unlimited

Program Length
90 minutes

Facility Requirements

I provide a complete feed via Zoom. The venue provides the audience. Easy!

My lectures are very well received, and many venues for which I speak invite me back for more. All of my topics are subjects about which I'm passionate, and that comes across. I've lectured around the U.S. and abroad.

If you're interested in knowing more, please give me a call, and also take a look at my website at www.barrybassist.com where you'll find my credentials, approach, and more.
