Program Category
Educational Programs
Audience Age
Pre-Teens and Teenagers
Explore the past, learn about the present (and science), and have a blast in the process.
In Mastermind Adventures’ Pompeii Living Game Program, participants step into the shoes of someone living in ancient Pompeii when Mount Vesuvius erupted. They'll work together to escape the looming disaster or get entombed in ash and pumice. Either way, they'll learn history is made, and how personal decisions impact their community.
This collaborative game highlights students' creativity and storytelling skills while helping them practice problem-solving and critical-thinking. It's also a great way for them to learn about history, geology, and anthropology—all while having fun!
